There is a first time for everything. The first time you fell in love, your first kiss, your first date, the first time you drove a car, your first and special prom etc.....When you are young, there is so much ahead to look forward to. Suddenly, before you know it, your life that you have lived is half full....Full of the last things you have done, not the first anymore! Everything is in the past. There are memories of good times, or even bad memories that cause lots of pain. We can look back, but never reopen that door again. Ahead of us are the first times; the times we look forward to. We suddenly find ourselves saying...."do you remember when"?? Yes, and then we refer to them as "the good ole days" ....the days when we were young, wild, and free..........those days were the "first and last times"!

I'm sure you've said goodbye so many times in your life, only to know or think that you will see that person again, right around the corner, the next day at work, in your dreams, in your everyday life! Most goodbye's we tend to forget, it does not linger in our minds....but, some goodbyes leave a lasting imprint in our minds forever! Think back......Do you remember a face, a door closed behind you, that special person walking away with his/her back turned, your loved one breathing his/her last breath, your loved one lying in a coffin, someone you would have loved to say "i love you too", that little baby lying in your arms for one last time, or just that casual goodbye..........the one that says...i will see you tomorrow........and that tomorrow never comes! Hold that thought now for a moment..........and yes, next time you say goodbye...cherish it and make it last....It may be the last goodbye!

SENSES

THE FEELING OF WATER, THE SPLASHING OF WAVES, THE SAND BENEATH OUR FEET.......THERE IS NOTHING MORE RELAXING ......NOTHING MORE BREATHTAKING...BUT THE PICTURE OF A CHILD, MY CHILD(GAGE), LIVING IN THAT MOMENT.......PRICELESS!

YESTERDAY

Remember yesterday, or the day before that? Before you know it, years will have gone by! Don't loose contact with the ones from yesterday...........they helped to mold the you that you are today! Yesterday is still full of dreams, promises and broken promises, memories, moments, forgotten loved ones, goals, surprises.....etc........Remember yesterday so it can remember you!

Dance Dance Dance

Whatever you do.......Don't forget to dance! Please don't be the one sitting in the chair or holding up the wall.....God gave us legs, feet, and arms for a reason.....Get out there and dance! Feel the music in your mind, body, and soul! Don't be that 80 year old man or woman in a wheelchair years from now wishing you would have danced to your favorite song, or held a lover so close in your arms out on the dance floor for everyone to see! Music is all around us....feel it and dance to it!

REMEMBERING

The gift of our memory is one of the greatest gifts of all, yet, it can also haunt us! My memories have been wonderful and I am living a wonderful life......thanks to the "God" up above! I have such good memories of childhood, friends, loved ones, deceased friends and family........Gosh life has been so sweet............And thanks "andre" for making everyday a little more sweeter!

JUST CHILLIN WITH MY BROTHER CHUCK

Sometimes we have to sit back and relax.....and enjoy a few! Life doesn't happen all at once! Life gives us chances then we make our own choices.........it is in these choices that we travel our own roads, sidewalks, pathways etc..............

This is andre's biological father and friend...Jimmy! A grandpa's love is like no other.........a father's love is like no other.....No matter how many miles apart and no matter how long it took for them to find one another.......That kind of love will never be replaced!

Ethan's 1st Birthday!

Oh, to be one again....to have your face smothered with icing and laugh hold hearted about it! He put on a show for 30 minutes with that same little cake! I think he had a sugar rush that day!

Granny Edna

This is Andre's mom, Edna......she and pawpaw pee wee adopted him in 1975..........She's the party hog....she goes out dancing every friday and saturday! On sunday....she is casino bound!

And Life Does Come Around Full Circle

This was the first time Andre met his Biological siblings! Andre was adopted in 1975 by a wonderful cajun couple..........Now, he has met his biological mom and dad! This was his first reunion with his brothers and sisters in Lima Peru! I'm so happy that life has come around full circle for him......It is at times like these that I know that there is " A God Up Above"......................Thanks God!

My Dad

This is my dad.....his nickname is "mutt"........He is the biggest worry-wart! You see that little thing in his arms....shhh! She's his eyes! Don't tell!

MOM's Are the best!

This is my mom.........the one who always has a smile on her face, the one who gives all and doesn't care if she receives anything! She wears her heart on her shoulder and gives so much to so many!
